NOTICE FOR THE DISPERSAL OF GROUPS – BORDON AREA
Hampshire Constabulary and East Hampshire District Council have both agreed that there are grounds to believe that members of the public have been intimidated, harassed, alarmed or distressed as a result of the presence or behaviour of two or more persons and that anti-social behaviour is a significant persistent problem in the aforementioned affected area.
TAKE NOTE:
To remain or return to this area having been told to leave may be an offence under Section 30(4) of the Anti-social Behaviour Act 2003, punishable by 3 months imprisonment and/or a fine of up to £2500.00.
Relevant Locality
Within the areas bordered by and including Woolmer Way, Woolmer Industrial Estate, High Street, Tesco Store and Car Park, Lynton Road and Devon Road.
I, Superintendent Barry Talbot, Hampshire Constabulary with the consent of East Hampshire District Council being the relevant Local Authority, hereby authorise uniformed constables and PCSO's to direct or disperse groups as defined under Part 4 of the Anti-social Behaviour Act 2003 from the stated areas above during the relevant period detailed below:

From 00.01hrs 07.11.2008 to 23.59hrs 06.05.2009
Directions
During these dates specified above a uniformed constable may give one or more of the following directions:
- Tell people in the group to leave the area (either immediately or by stated time and in such specified way)
- Tell people who don't live in the area to leave (either immediately or by a stated time and in such specified way)
- Tell people who don't live in the area not to return to the area or any part of it for such period (not exceeding 24 hours) from when the direction was given, as the officer may specify
- Between 9.00pm and 6.00am persons under the age of 16 who are not under the effective control of a parent or a person over the age of 18 may be removed to their home or place of safety if more appropriate
