The Home of the Whitehill Town Council
The picture opposite is the home of Whitehill Town Council. Our offices are here along with most of the Council Officers. The Council occupies part of the Forest Community Centre which is right in the heart of our town.
Inside the Forest Centre is the Council Chamber. This is where the Town Council and various committee meetings take place. At the far end of the table you may be able to make out our gavel. Yes each meeting is started with a bang. Meetings are ended in the same way. Our Chairman raises the gavel hits the special block and the meeting starts.
There are chairs along the wall on the left for members of the public. Any resident of White and Bordon is welcome to attend all Council meetings. Our agendas include a slot for residents to raise questions to the Council. We are always happy to see residents and encourage you to come along
Standing Orders
The operations and business of Whitehill Town Council is governed by a set of rules. These rules are our standing orders. You can see a copy of the Council's Standing Orders just click on the Whitehill stag and download a PDF copy.
