Members of the public are welcome to attend all Council meetings and participate by asking questions or raising issues during the recess for public questions. This is a fixed agenda item on all Council meetings.
The Council likes to see our residents at meetings and would whole heartedly encourage you to attend.
Council meetings are important as this is where discussion about the Towns development takes place. Council decisions including spending, play areas and grant awards are also taken in these meetings.
Planning applications are an issue for residents in any area and while the Town Council is not the decision maker in the area, we do make inputs and give views and feedback to the planning authority. These views as listened to by the planning authority and can make a difference top the final decision.
By attending Council meetings residents of Whitehill and Bordon can make their views know and we the Council can ensure that our decision and recommendations reflect the views of our residents. Council meetings are formal but (mostly) friendly, people can be confident of being listened to and comfortable to attend, you will be most welcome at any Council meeting.
Public seating is available in the Council chamber so why not come along and see what goes on and tell us your point of view.
