Town Mayor’s Charities

Dementia Friendly Whitehill & Bordon was launched in May 2022 by Right at Home Alton & Bordon, Café 1759 and Dementia Friendly Hampshire. Dementia Friendly Whitehill & Bordon are working to make the town a place where people with dementia can live a good life, with opportunities to participate in and  contribute to their communities and be valued for who they are. The community group do this by running awareness raising activities, involving people already affected by dementia in the development of resources, as well as supporting local groups aimed at those with dementia and their carers.

I’m all ears is a non-judgemental and confidential service for people needing to offload, or who are looking for counselling, promptly.   Run by volunteer qualified counsellors and trainee counsellors in their final year of studies I’m all ears aims to provide reassurance kindness and understanding, supporting people through difficult and challenging times in a non-judgemental, confidential space.   Established in November 2017, I’m all ears has 5 centres in Surrey and East Hampshire offering face to face counselling as well as virtual counselling.   The service is available at the Forest Community Centre in Bordon.

We would also like to thank the following business for their generosity in providing cash donations:
