Councillors and Officers work together in the council to serve the Whitehill & Bordon Community.
A Councillor’s role is to bring local issues to the attention of the council and help it make decisions on behalf of the local community. Councillors have a range of different skills and attitudes which are needed for a local council to work as a team with a sensitivity that is more difficult for principal authorities to achieve. The diversity of a local councils is its strength and Central Government is encouraging local councils to deliver more services and play a greater part in their communities.
Whitehill Town Councillors are often involved in other organisations across the town and some are also District and County Councillors. Councillors also act as representatives on outside bodies.
