Fly Tipping

It has come to Whitehill Town Council’s attention that there have been cases of fly tipping in Bordon Inclosure, the layby on Lindford Road, Knaves Mire, Conde Way Car Park, and a recent spate of fly tipping in Jubilee Park. Instead of precept council tax money (which the Town Council receives annually from residents) being spent on projects which are beneficial to the community, Whitehill Town Council has had to pay for the hire of a skip to remove a sofa and general rubbish, as well as the disposal of a fridge freezer. This has taken considerable time out of the Whitehill Town Council’s grounds staff’s work schedule. The Council takes matters of fly tipping very seriously and will investigate reports of all incidents and will seek to prosecute the perpetrators.
